Question:
My company has just changed the address of its head office. Do we need to amend the Business Registration Certificate?
Answer:
According to Article 30 of the Law on Enterprises 2020:
- An enterprise must register the change with the Business Registration Authority when there is any change to the contents of the Business Registration Certificate (such as address, charter capital, legal representative, etc.).
- Time limit: Within 10 days from the date of the change.

Note: If the enterprise fails to notify the change within the above time limit, it may be subject to an administrative fine ranging from 10 to 30 million VND, depending on the length of the delay (according to Article 44 and Article 49 of Decree 122/2021/ND-CP).
Therefore, you need to update the contents of the Business Registration Certificate within the time limit prescribed by law.
