Pursuant to Clauses 1 and 2, Article 31 of the Law on Advertising 2012:
Article 31. Issuance of construction permits for advertising structures
- The construction of outdoor advertising screens, signboards, independent billboards, or billboards attached to existing constructions must comply with the provisions of this Law, other relevant laws, and the local outdoor advertising planning.
2.The construction of outdoor advertising screens, signboards, independent billboards, or billboards attached to existing constructions must obtain a construction permit from the competent local construction authority in the following cases:
(a) Construction of an outdoor advertising screen with a single-face area of 20 square meters (m²) or more;
(b) Construction of signboards or billboards with a single-face area of over 20 m² with a metal frame structure or similar construction materials attached to an existing building;
(c) Independent billboards with a single-face area of 40 m² or more.
