Event organization license is a legal basis that ensures the lawful conduct of programs. Therefore, businesses need to obtain this license from the competent authority before organizing any event.

The application dossier for obtaining an event organization license typically includes the following documents:

  • Copy of Business registration certificate of the enterprise or copy of Establishment icense for the representative office of a foreign trader.
  • Application letter for event organization license must be in the name of the unit applying for the license.
  • Event rganization contract (if the event is organized on behalf of a client).
  • A detailed description of the event program.
  • Authorization letter from the client to the organizing entity.
  • Venue rental agreement.

Once the dossier is complete, the applicant needs to submit it to the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Hanoi City and the People’s Committee of Hanoi City to get the event organization license.

Submission Deadline: The dossier should be submitted at least 10 days before the event. For fashion shows, costume designs must be approved at least 30 days before the event.

Note: In the case of companies exhibiting and introducing cosmetic products, the products must have a product announcement certificate according to health regulations, and advertising content must comply with legal requirements.
