Obtaining Operating Service Provider License (OSP License)

In order to implement the plan of business expansion in Vietnam in the coming years, the Company intend to provide internet telephone services. Under Vietnam Law, it is required the Company to obtain OPS License from Ministry of Information and Communication.

Under Vietnam Law, as Internet Telephone Service is considered as a conditional business line in Vietnam, the application for OPS License must undergo the complicate evaluation process held by Ministry of Information and Communication.

In this process, the Company must propose a sufficient explanation regarding to its financial ability, technology and infrastructure to provide services as well as potential market. Generally, it shall take 60 days from submission of legitimate application dossier for the Ministry of Information and Communication to determine whether to grant the OPS License or not.

1.      Preparation of the application documents :

  • Notifying you the required documents;
  • Drafting application documents required for submission purposes including application, technical explanatory statement, power of attorney;
  • Liaising with the Authorities to discuss the draft application documents;
  • Amending the application documents based on the Authorities’ comments;
  • Finalizing and translating the final versions of the application documents into Vietnamese for execution.
 

The first draft documents will be available within two to three weeks upon receipt of full information and feedback.

2.      Licensing procedures:

  • Monitoring and following up with the relevant authorities on the approval process;
  • Update on the developments and additional requirements, if any;
  • Prepare additional documents and submit to the licensing authority (if required); and
  • Obtaining the OPS License
Under Vietnam Law it shall take 60 days from submission of application dossier for obtaining the OPS License
