Answer: I am Lawyer of SB Law. I was entrusted to support you in this matter. From your information, we understand that, you intend to setup a foreign invested company in Vietnam for retailing cosmetic and supplemental products through e-commerce platform.
Under Vietnam Law, in order to setup and operating an e-commerce platform for retailed sale, a foreign invested company must obtain a license for conducting business activities in e-commerce field.
This license shall be granted on case by case basis as Vietnam Government does not commit to open this market to foreign investors.
