In case a lawful owner of a utility model patent is in demand of assigning the utility model patent to a third party, they can register and record the assignment at National Office of Intellectual Property as below:
The required documents for the assignment include:
- Application form
- Assignment agreement of the utility model patent
- The original of the utility model patent
- Power of Attorney
Examination period:
Under Intellectual Property Law, the examination period of the said assignment registration is from 3 to 4 months.
