The normal working hours prescribed under law is a maximum of 8 hours a day or 48 hours a week and the employer shall have the right to determine.
The working hours at night shall commence at 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. of the following day. An employee can be allowed to work overtime only with consent and not by force. The overtime hours should not exceed 50% of the normal working hours of a day.
