Nội dung bài viết

Question: I am a New Zealand citizen and I am interested in working in Vietnam as an English Teacher.

I have problem with the background check part of the work permit process-

I was convicted of drink driving in 2005 and this will show up on a police check.

Will this prevent me from getting a work permit in Vietnam?

Can you provide any services which could help me with this problem?

Answer: We would like to advise you as follows:

In this case, you must obtain a visa to enter into Vietnam first. After staying in Vietnam about 4 months, you can obtain a clean criminal record in Vietnam.
Clean criminal record in Vietnam can replace your police check in New Zealand for the purpose of obtaining work permit in Vietnam.
We do hope that the above information is helpful for you. If you have any further inquiry, do not hesitate to contact us.
