On March 13, 2024, the Ministry of Construction issued the Decision to Announce the National Construction Price Index in 2023 according to Decision 167/QĐ-BXD in 2024. The national construction price index takes into account fluctuations in construction costs, equipment costs, project management costs, and consulting costs for construction investment. It also considers various other cost items related to construction projects.
Certain cost items, such as compensation, support and resettlement costs, demining and explosive materials, and interest during construction (for projects using borrowed capital), as well as initial working capital (for production and business projects), are not included in the calculation of the national construction price index.
The method for determining the national construction price index follows the regulations specified in Circular 13/2021/TT-BXD, which provides guidance on the methodology for determining economic and technical indicators and measuring construction quantities.
This Decision is in effect from March 13, 2024.
