Question: May I kindly ask...having at this time, invalid information regarding 'recognized' foreign employee paid off days please. I understand that as a foreigner....American that I am entitled to my birthday and independence day and again, are they paid 'off days' please?
Answer: SBLAW would like to advise you as follows:
Under Vietnam Law, foreign employee shall be entitled to (i) one paid day off for their traditional New Year Holiday and (ii) one paid day off for their independent day. Other paid leave shall be the same to Vietnamese Employees.
Vietnam Labor Law does not stipulate that employee is entitled to paid leave for birthday.
