On August 14, 2024, the General Department of Customs issued Official Dispatch No. 3835/TCHQ-GSQL on notice of system update of the Trade Promotion Council China.
Accordingly, the General Department of Customs has the opinion:
+ The C/O reference number issued by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) is still issued according to the old version with 16 digits;
+ From September 1, 2024, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) will issue C/O according to the new version, the C/O reference number will be adjusted to 17 digits and checked. the authenticity of C/O issued by CCPIT on the website http://check.ecoccpit.net (issued by the new system);
+ During the transition period, customs authorities accept C/O with C/O reference number in both versions; (The guidance in this official dispatch replaces official dispatch No. 3336/TCHQ-GSQL dated July 9, 2024, of the General Department of Customs)
