Inter-country adoption in Vietnam

Nội dung bài viết

Question: I am writing to inquire into adoption in Vietnam. My husband and I are Irish and currently live in Singapore.

I understand that as Ireland and Vietnam are both part of The Hague Convention and Irish citizens are able to adopt children from Vietnam.

As we currently live in Singapore, I am not sure if it is possible for us to adopt from there. Could you let me know if it is possible and what the process would be and a rough time frame.

Answer: SBLAW would like to advise as follows:
In this case, since you do not regularly reside in Vietnam, you can only seek support from Ireland Inter-country Adoption Organization in Vietnam.
You can contact Helping Hands Agency.
Their official website is http://www.helpinghands.ie/ or
You can make a call to them for assistance
