Under Vietnam Law, a forwarder/logistic company can provide services here under:
- Warehouse service: For this service, you can setup 100% foreign owned company in Vietnam.
- Custom clearance service: For this service, you shall have to joint venture with a local partner in Vietnam. However, you can own up to 99% shareholding in such Joint Venture Company.
- Freight road transportation: For this service, you shall have to joint venture with a local partner in Vietnam. However, you can own up to 51% shareholding in such Joint Venture Company.
- Passenger road transportation: For this service, you shall have to joint venture with a local partner in Vietnam. However, you can own up to 49% shareholding in such Joint Venture Company.
- Freight Transportation agency: For this service, you can setup 100% foreign owned company in Vietnam.
- Passenger Marine transportation: For this service, you shall have to joint venture with a local partner in Vietnam. However, you can own up to 49% shareholding in such Joint Venture Company.
- Freight Marine transportation: For this service, you can setup 100% foreign owned company in Vietnam.
- Container Handling Services (except for one provided at airports): For this service, you shall have to joint venture with a local partner in Vietnam. However, you can own up to 50% shareholding in such Joint Venture Company.
