On June 30, 2024, the Government issued Decree No. 75/2024/NĐ-CP adjusting pensions, social insurance allowances, and monthly allowances. Here are some notable provisions of this Decree:

Starting from July 1, 2024, a 15% increase will be applied to pensions, social insurance allowances, and monthly allowances compared to those of June 2024:
- From July 1, 2024, individuals receiving pensions, social insurance allowances, and monthly allowances as per regulations, whose benefits are less than 3,500,000 VND per month after adjustment, will receive the following additional adjustments:
+ An additional 300,000 VND per person per month for those with benefits below 3,200,000 VND per person per month;
+ Increased to 3,500,000 VND per person per month for those with benefits ranging from 3,200,000 VND to less than 3,500,000 VND per person per month.
- The adjusted pensions, social insurance allowances, and monthly allowances will serve as the basis for future adjustments.

There are 09 groups eligible for increased pensions and allowances starting from July 1, 2024, including:
- Officials, civil servants, workers, employees, and laborers (including those voluntarily participating in social insurance, retirees from the Nghệ An Farmer Social Insurance Fund transferred according to Decision No. 41/2009/QĐ-TTg); military personnel, public security officers, and essential personnel receiving monthly pensions;
- Communal officials stipulated in Decree No. 33/2023/NĐ-CP, Decree No. 92/2009/NĐ-CP, Decree No. 34/2019/NĐ-CP, Decree No. 121/2003/NĐ-CP, Decree No. 09/1998/NĐ-CP;
- Individuals receiving monthly disability benefits according to legal regulations; individuals receiving monthly allowances under Decision No. 91/2000/QĐ-TTg, Decision No. 613/QĐ-TTg 2010; rubber workers receiving monthly allowances under Decision No. 206-CP 1979;
- Communal officials receiving monthly allowances under Decision No. 130-CP 1975 and Decision No. 111-HĐBT 1981;
- Military personnel receiving monthly allowance regimes under Decision No. 142/2008/QĐ-TTg (amended and supplemented by Decision No. 38/2010/QĐ-TTg);...
The Decree takes effect from July 1, 2024.
