Question: In regarding cosmetics import license in Vietnam, I want to import from Korean and I would like to know more about the process:

1. What type of paper work is needed?

2. Will my products will go through a lab check?

3. What is the time frame for obtaining the import license?

4.What is the cost - breakup it up to your firm fee and the government fee please?

5.Do i need to have a Vietnamese company or a foreign company is enough?

1.What type of paper work is needed?

We shall need following documents:

+ Legalized copy of Certificate of Free Sale (CFS) of the products issued by the competent authority in your home country.

+ Legalized copy of Power of Attorney (POA) issued by the Product's Manufacturer granting right to the Importer in Vietnam to register cosmetic products in Vietnam.

+ Certified copy of Certificate of Enterprise Registration of the Importer in Vietnam;

+ Digital signature of the Importer in Vietnam.

2. Will my products will go through a lab check?

No.

3. What is the time frame for obtaining the import license?

It shall take about 01 month from submission of application dossier to complete the cosmetic product's proclamation.

4. What is the cost - breakup it up to your firm fee and the government fee please?

Our cost as follows:

Governmental fee: 25USD/1 product

Our service fee: 375USD/1 product

5. Do i need to have a Vietnamese company or a foreigncompany is enough?

You shall need to have a Vietnamese Company to act as Importer. If you do not have, we can connect you with a service company to act as nominee importer.
