On January 31, 2023, the Ministry of Health issued Circular No. 32/2023/TT-BYT detailing a number of articles of the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment. Accordingly, this Circular regulates:
1. Continuously update medical knowledge in medical examination and treatment as prescribed in Clause 14, Article 2 and Clause 4, Article 22 of the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment.
2. Scope of medical examination and treatment practice for professional positions specified in Clause 3, Article 26 of the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment.
3. Sample of license to practice medical examination and treatment specified in Clause 5, Article 27 of the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment.
4. Recognize the quality standards of medical examination and treatment facilities promulgated by domestic and foreign organizations as prescribed in Point d, Clause 1 and Clause 4, Article 57 of the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment.
5. Medical records and summary of medical records specified in Clause 1, Article 69 of the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment.
6. On duty for medical examination and treatment as prescribed in Clause 3, Article 70 of the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment.
7. Standards and health examination specified in Clause 2, Article 83 of the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment.
8. Practice good practice in testing new techniques, new methods or clinical testing of medical equipment as prescribed in Point d, Clause 4, Article 99 of the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment.
9. Regulations on the organization and operation of the Professional Council and the order and procedures for resolving disputes when a medical accident occurs are specified in Clause 6, Article 101 of the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment.
10. Mobilize, mobilize, and assign tasks to subjects participating in medical examination and treatment in case of natural disasters, disasters, infectious diseases of group A or emergencies specified in Clause 4, Article 115 of the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment.
This Circular takes effect from January 1, 2024.
