On April 25, 2025, the legal delegation of SBLAW, represented by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ha – Chairman of SBLAW, and Mr. Tran Trung Kien – Partner of SBLAW, had the honor of attending the SCO & Central Asia Arbitration Forum 2025 held in Urumqi, Xinjiang, China.

The event was jointly organized by the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), gathering over 300 delegates including lawyers, arbitrators, legal scholars, and international legal experts from SCO member states such as China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, India, Pakistan, Russia, and several observer countries.

The forum focused on enhancing regional cooperation in international commercial arbitration and promoting alternative dispute resolution (ADR) mechanisms. Discussions emphasized the role of arbitration in ensuring a transparent, effective legal environment that facilitates cross-border trade and economic integration in the Eurasian region.

During the forum, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ha and Mr. Tran Trung Kien actively engaged in expert discussions, shared practical insights from Vietnam, and established connections with arbitration institutions, law firms, and professionals in the region.
