Funds determine the system of statistical indicators and statistical reporting regimes of the natural resources sector and environment
On December 15,2023, The Minister of Natural Resources and Environment issued Circular 22/2023/TT-BTNMT regulating the system of statistical indicators and statistical reporting regime for the natural resources and environment sector. Accordingly, the system of statistical indicators for the Natural Resources and Environment sector includes 88 indicators in 15 fields: land; Water Resources; mineral and geological resources; environment; hydrometeorology; Climate Change; surveying, mapping and geographical information; sea and islands… This Circular takes effect from March 1, 2024. 2. Urging reports on the implementation of regulations on pollution control and environmental protection of water, land and air On December 15, 2023, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment issued Official Dispatch No. 10572/BTNMT-KSONMT urging reports on implementation of regulations of the Law on Environmental Protection, Decisions and Directives of the Prime Minister on Pollution control and environmental protection of water, land and air issued by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. Accordingly, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment requests relevant ministries, branches, and People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities to summarize the results of organizing the implementation of assigned requirements and tasks and send them to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. Report (as of December 25, 2023) (according to the form in the attached Appendices) to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment before December 28, 2023 for synthesis and reporting to the Prime Minister. This official dispatch takes effect from December 15, 2023. 3. Regulations on coordination of state management of chemical activities in Hai Phong city On December 14, 2023, the People's Committee of Hai Phong City issued Decision No. 52/2023/QD-UBND on Regulations on coordination of state management of chemical activities in Hai Phong city. In particular, there are specific regulations on coordination responsibilities: Propaganda, dissemination, and guidance on legal regulations in chemical activities in the city; Statistics, sharing and providing information on chemical management activities; Inspect and examine chemical activities; Prevent and respond to chemical incidents. This decision takes effect from December 25, 2023. |
