SBLaw is an up-and-coming Vietnamese full service firm that prides itself on its intellectual property practice. The practice, led by partner of SBLAW, handles the full gamut of IP matters,including prosecution and contentious work for copyrights, trademarks, patents and industrial designs.

The firm registered patents, trademarks and industrial designs through Madrid and Paris Conventions for Thach Anh Construction Investment Corporation and acted in one of the few cases in which a Vietnamese company registered abroad. The firm is the Vietnam IP agent of prestigious clients such as Nippon Steel, Viettel, Vietnam Fund Management, MBank and MHY Singapore in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar. Pham is representing Mei Heong Yuen Food Industries in its trade mark for peanut products. The company has successfully sued Tat Thang Food Industry to enforce its mark.

The firm also handles traditional dispute resolution and acts for international companies. The practice, led by Nguyen Thanh Ha, defended state owned company Petrol Manning JSC against the execution of a foreign arbitration award from the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre for Steelco Trading. The court found the foreign arbitration contract void because of the irrelevant authority of the representative of the client.
