On December 28, 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Circular No. 42/2023/TT-BCT (“Circular No. 42”) amending and supplementing a number of articles of Circular No. 37/2019/TT-BCT ( “Circular No. 37”) dated November 29, 2019 of the Minister of Industry and Trade detailing a number of contents on trade defense measures.
Accordingly, Circular No. 42 amends and supplements Clause 5, Article 6; Clause 4 and name Article 10; Article 11; Clause 4, Article 13; Clause 1, Article 16; Article 20; Clause 2, Article 23; Point c Clause 1 Article 26.
Circular 42 also abolishes Clauses 5 and 6, Article 10 of Circular No. 37.
For dossiers requesting exemption from trade remedies that have been received or decisions on exemption from trade remedies have been issued before the effective date of Circular 42, follow these steps: according to the provisions of Circular No. 37
This Circular takes effect from February 16, 2024.
