Recently, the U.S. law firm Pomerantz filed a lawsuit against VinFast in the Eastern District Court of New York for allegedly failing to disclose information to the public.
However, according to Lawyer Nguyen Thanh Ha, Chairman of SBLAW, the lawsuits filed by law firms in the U.S. against VinFast, along with dozens of other companies, are common business tactics employed by law firms to stimulate litigation. These firms stand to benefit from contingency fees, which can be relatively high, typically ranging from 30 to 35% of the compensation amount in ordinary cases, and even 40% or more in securities-related cases. This is why lawsuits in the U.S. are "as common as daily meals."
