On March 29, 2024, the Minister of Information and Communications issued Circular 02/2024/TT-BTTTT regulating the List of potentially unsafe products and goods under the management responsibility of the Ministry of Information and communication.
(1) The list of products and goods specialized in information technology and communications that require regulation certification and declaration of conformity include:
- Radio transmitter and receiver equipment with frequency bands ranging from 9 kHz to 400 GHz
- Short range radio equipment
(2) List of products and goods specialized in information technology and communications that require declaration of conformity include:
- Information technology equipment
- Radio and television equipment
- Radio transmitter and receiver equipment with a frequency band ranging from 9 kHz to 400 GHz and a transmitting capacity of 60 mW or more
- Short range radio equipment
- Lithium battery for handheld devices
