On April 15, 2026, at SB LAW Hanoi’s office, SB LAW warmly welcomed and held a working session with representatives of the Hanoi Branch of Duy Quan Law Firm, Guangxi (China). The meeting marked the first anniversary of the establishment of the strategic partnership between the two parties and served as an opportunity for their leadership to outline future development directions.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed a year of cooperation, highlighting positive outcomes while also drawing lessons learned from jointly implemented projects. These efforts have contributed to optimizing case-handling processes and enhancing the efficiency of legal support for Chinese enterprises investing in Vietnam. The combination of Duy Quan’s strengths in international client networks and bilingual capabilities with SB LAW’s extensive experience in investment advisory, dispute resolution, intellectual property, and labor has enabled the delivery of comprehensive legal solutions. More importantly, the two parties have built a strong foundation of trust and close collaboration.

On that basis, both parties agreed to elevate their partnership to a deeper and more comprehensive level, positioning it to adapt to the rapid development of science, technology, and artificial intelligence in the legal sector.

Accordingly, the two firms committed to focusing their resources on three key sectors: renewable energy, infrastructure development, and personal data protection. They also agreed to implement a flexible cooperation model through the establishment of specialized task forces immediately following the meeting. Each task force will be responsible for researching specific legal issues in its respective field, directly participating in project advisory, and organizing industry-focused seminars. These strategic initiatives aim to help clients stay updated with the rapidly evolving legal and regulatory framework in Vietnam, anticipate new investment trends, and maximize opportunities arising from increasing capital inflows from China into the Vietnamese market.

The meeting concluded in a spirit of strong consensus and determination, opening up expectations for continued delivery of practical value to clients and meaningful contributions to the development of Vietnam’s legal market.
