On September 7, 2024, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 936/QĐ-TTg regarding the plan for the implementation of the 2024 Law on National Defense, Security, and Industrial Mobilization.
The key contents of the implementation plan are as follows:
- Organizing the dissemination, education, and specialized training on the Law on National Defense, Security, and Industrial Mobilization 2024.
Content: This involves organizing broad dissemination and public education on the Law and its detailed implementing regulations, using appropriate methods tailored to specific audiences to enhance awareness and understanding, particularly among those directly engaged in national defense, security, and industrial mobilization work. It also includes compiling materials for disseminating the Law and related regulations, as well as preparing training documents for professional education on the Law.
- Reviewing legal documents.
Content: The review includes examining legal documents related to national defense, security, and industrial mobilization under the assigned State management authority. Based on the review, authorities are to amend, supplement, replace, repeal, or propose the timely issuance of new legal documents to ensure consistency with the Law and its detailed implementing regulations.
- Drafting detailed legal regulations under the Law: This includes drafting five Government Decrees, three Prime Ministerial Decisions, and four Circulars.
- Preparing documents for implementing the Law: This involves drafting ten Prime Ministerial Decisions for the implementation of the Law.
- Conducting inspections on the implementation of the Law and its detailed legal regulations.
The Decision takes effect as of September 7, 2024.
