Management of road transport activities through border

On December 13, 2023, the Minister of Transport issued Circular No.  37/2023/ TT-BGTVT on the management of cross-border road transport activities. Accordingly :

  • Means of transport across borders must have valid, valid documents and present them to competent authorities upon request.
  • Drivers crossing the border must carry valid, valid documents when entering or exiting at the border gate and be subject to inspection and control by specialized agencies at the border gate.
  • Service staff on vehicles crossing the border must carry valid passports or International travel documents valid as a substitute for a passport and visas issued by competent authorities (except in cases of visa exemption) that are still valid. when entering or exiting at the border gate and subject to inspection and control by specialized agencies at the border gate.

This Circular takes effect from March 1, 2024 

Government amending and supplementing a number of articles of decree No. 65/2018/ND-CP dated May 12 2018 and Decree No. 01/2022/ND-CP dated January 04, 2022

On December 14, 2023, the Government issued Decree 91/2023/ND-CP amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 65/2018/ND-CP of the Government detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law railways and Decree no. 01/2022/ND-CP amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 65/2018/ND-CP dated May 12, 2018 by Government.

Accordingly, the Decree has adjusted the roadmap for implementing the shelf life of railway vehicles; amending and supplementing Article 12 of Decree 65/2018/ND-CP regulating railways with a design speed of less than 100 km/h intersecting with roads; Railways intersect roads of level IV or lower

This Decree takes effect from January 30, 2024
