Please be informed that according to the Article 159 of Vietnam Civil Procedure Code 2004, the statute of limitations for initiating a lawsuit to request the court to settle a civil case is two years as from the date the legitimate rights and interests of individuals, agencies or organizations, public interests or the State’s interests are infringed upon and if such time limit expires, the client will lose his/her right to initiate lawsuits unless otherwise provided for by law.
