Importation of used equipment in Vietnam has to respect the following rules:

•         Not to import machinery, equipment and technology lines that are removed by other countries due to obsolescence, inferior quality and polluting nature.

•         Used equipment that the domestic companies can not manufacture, and the duration of time from the production date to the import date does not exceed 5 years and remaining usage value (remaining quality) at least 80% upwards can be imported

•         Importer need to obtain Import License
