The Ministry of Health is developing a circular to regulate the list of occupational diseases covered by social insurance, replacing Circular 15/2016/TT-BYT, Circular 02/2023/TT-BYT. According to the draft circular, the number of occupational diseases remains the same, however, there are changes with some new diseases added and old diseases removed compared to the current regulations. According to the draft circular regulating the list of occupational diseases covered by social insurance, workers, after being diagnosed with an occupational disease, need to: limit exposure to harmful factors causing that occupational disease; treatment according to the regimen of the Ministry of Health. For the group of occupational poisoning diseases, those who are poisoned must be detoxified, detoxified in time.
